Nove Mesto BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup 14.03.2021 4x6km Mixed Relay race preview

Two-week long competition in Nove Mesto will be concluded with two relay races. Here is our biathlon model predictions for 4x6km mixed relay race.

As often during this season, Norwegian team is big favourite to win the race, they are current world champions in Mixed relay discipline and our model gives Norway 59% chance to win the race and 90% chance to stand on podium today.

France is predicted to finish 43 seconds behind the leaders and they have nineteen percent chance to win the race with 65% chance to be in top3.

German team is the third favourite with 11% winning chance and 52% chance for podium.

The next is Italian team, predicted to finish 72 seconds behind the leader, our model gives it seven percent chance to win and 41% chance for any medal.

Russian team has tiny chance to win today, two percent, but 20% chance for podium.

Ukraine who finished 4th in world championships in Pokljuka this year have one percent chance to win and 11% chance for a medal.

Sweden, bronze finalist of the mixed relay in Pokljuka will start with 1% chance to win and 9% chance for podium today.

The runner-up in mixed relay race of World Championships this year, team Austria have <1% chance to win today and 4% podium chance.
